The Easiest, Most Amazing Air Fryer Taco Bombs With Only 4 Ingredients

I am always looking for a new way to use my air fryer. For a machine my husband thought we’d never use, we sure do air fry a bunch.  These air fryer taco bombs were a recent dinner I tried, and they were a huge hit.  If I had known how much we’d like them, I probably would have doubled the recipe.

Air Fryer Taco Bombs

Is there really anything better than taco meat, cheese cubes and biscuits?  I think not (and my husband said the same thing during dinner tonight).  The family’s taco night is going to look a little different after making these. The gooey cheese center in these air fryer taco bombs was 10x better than regular tacos.

This recipe would also make a great appetizer or finger food for a party.

Equipment you’ll need for these:

The ingredients for these air fryer taco bombs are oretty simple (there’s only 4):

  • 1 can of biscuit dough
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • Taco seasoning (I have a great homemade one if you’re interested)
  • Cheese cubes

The steps are super simple as well:

  1. Cook beef over medium-high heat until cooked through and add 3 Tbs taco seasoning.
  2. Roll out each biscuit, making it flat.  HIGHLY recommend a rolling pin for this part.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  4. Add ground beef and cheese. Pinch closed.
  5. Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes in a single layer, turning over halfway through. They should be a nice olden brown when done.
  6. Top with sour cream or salsa if desired (but they are pretty amazing as is.

Tips for these air fryer taco bombs:

You can use ground pork or ground venison in place of the ground beef.

You can use shredded cheese instead of cubed. It’s just a little harder to work with.

I recommend doubling the recipe.  If you have a family of 4, this recipe only gives you 2 each, which is not enough IMO.

Pinch the seams WAY more than you think you need to.  I did not and they came open while air frying.

I would start cooking seam side up to make sure you can flip them without dumping the meat out.
