This delicious honey bun cake is probably one of my favorite recipes. It uses boxed yellow cake mix with a few added extras but is such an easy recipe to make.

I love cakes.

Chocolate cake, vanilla cake, red velvet cake. There isn’t a cake I’ve met that I didn’t like. They are perfect for any occasion. Want to have a great birthday? Cake. Need a simple dessert for a family event? Cake. Have a business meeting you want people to attend? You guessed it. Cake.

Honey Bun Cake

Cake makes people happy, and happy people are nicer, more productive, and just more of a joy to be around.

It’s like science or something.

Don’t believe me? Here’s an article.

And here’s another.

Cake=Happiness and happiness does lots of things.

But I digress.

This is one of my favorite cakes ever in the history of ever. It’s definitelky one of the most e It’s sweet, fluffy and moist (the ONLY acceptable time to use that word).

There’s also no icing on this cake. It uses a sweet glaze instead, just like a traditional honey bun.

It also uses simple dolled up boxed cake mix, which is my FAVORITE way to make cake. I’m a sucker for simplicity. There are simple tips for dolling up yellow cake in this recipe, and you can check out this recipe for making your boxed chocolate cake taste like it’s from the bakery.

a note about glaze

I put the ingredients for the glaze up, but juts know that doesn’t make a lot. I usually quadruple that and pour half of it on the cake and the other half I save and use per piece. This is ESPECIALLY true if you make this delicious cake for other people.

Always better to have too much than not enough.

And that’s it. An easy to make and delicious HONEY BUN CAKE .  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
