This homemade taco seasoning recipe makes roughly 6 tablespoons of taco seasoning. It is delicious and you won’t regret making it.

Homemade Taco Seasoning

I use it for all of my Mexican dishes. It’s really good with cauliflower rice or regular rice. I’ve also used it for fajitas. I have never regretted it. It’s also way healthier than the store bought stuff.

I used it in a crustless taco pie recipe and it was UNBELIEVABLE. We ate the whole pie pan in one sitting. My kids ate 3 pieces each.

I have regular plastic containers that I use to store my spices, with the exception of what I store in a spice rack, which I love.

Taco Seasoning Recipe

  • 3 Tbs chili powder
  • 1 Tbs paprika
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbs black pepper
  • 1 Tbs salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • Cayenne pepper to taste (I use 1/4 tsp because I’m a sissy)

Mix them all together and there you have it.

Super easy, delicious, homemade taco (or anything Mexican) seasoning.
